Message from Dave: On my days off I still just love going out and having a nice cruisy trail ride on my mountain bike. It helps me realise how lucky we are to have such a great country and that Nelson is one of the better parts of it and the simple pleasures we get from a great ride are the best.

"Just ride ya bike and enjoy. Sweet as"

Health/Fitness: Get active and get healthy. Your body, your doctor, your friends & family will thank you for it. Mountain biking, the best stress relief money can buy. Many in the medical profession are prescribing the "Green Prescription", getting exercise and eating healthy nutritious foods.

Gift a ride: Give a gift to a family member or a friend. This is a great way to promote a healthy life for loved ones.
Try before you buy: If you want help talk to Biking Nelson. Maybe you just want to try this activity out with your family before committing to purchasing bikes.

You can do the same by choosing activities that support you and the environment.

Testimonial: Hi Dave! The biking today was really enjoyable for me, thank you again. Also, it was a pleasure to meet you. Three things I'll take with from today, that I have to try:

1. honey from NZ --> I've bought a small glass of Matuka honey today :-) It's for tomorrow's breakfast...

2. Possum fur gloves --> I'll let you know how satisfied I am back in cold Switzerland (it's getting colder, first snow has fallen, winter starts)

3. Keep the feet at the same level while standing on the pedals --> thanks for this useful hint!

Have a nice summer and take care on the paths,
